You may have been taught in school that America was founded on Christianity, but evidence of this is not reflected in the writings of our Founding Fathers. In fact, six former U.S. presidents were actually opposed to the doctrine and dogma of Christianity.

Politics and Christianity

A colleague recently approached me expressing grave concern regarding the upcoming presidential election. He was very concerned about the direction the country is underway. This is understandable, but I think for different reasons than he. I want to take a look at this day both my personal thought and then in a biblical perspective.

Personally

I think their is a huge void of true leadership and integrity in Washington. Both presidential candidatesare poor choices for America. Today I read a joke that goes, "If both parties presidential and vice presidential candidates us in a boat that capsized, which will be saved?" Answer: "America".
